A manhunt was underway in Hoover on Thursday, following a jailbreak, authorities said. Police say Theodoric Boglin, 24, was being held on charges he fired shots at his girlfriend. Investigators say he was able to escape, after getting access to a perimeter door. Boglin was last seen in the vicinity of Valleydale Road. He was wearing a jail uniform, authorities said.
