Persons of Interest Charged in Birmingham Kidnapping

Birmingham police Tuesday announced charges against two persons of interest in the kidnapping of 3-year old Kamille McKinney. The charges are unrelated to the abduction, said police chief Patrick Smith, who added the pair remain persons of interest in the case. 39-year old Patrick Stallworth of Birmingham was charged with possession of child pornography. A woman arrested with Stallworth, Derick Brown, 29, faces bond revocation in a 2018 kidnapping case involving her own children. Smith says the search for Kamille, known as "Cupcake," continues. He again asked anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers. A total of $6,000 in reward money was being offered for information leading an arrest and conviction. Kamille was abducted Saturday night during a birthday party at the Tom Brown VIllage public housing project in North Avondale.
