A New Jersey man was arrested after police found an arsenal of guns, illegal drugs, and white supremacist material in his home. 57-year-old Joseph Rubino was seriously injured in a car accident on July 24 and required medical attention. When officers arrived to help Rubino, they discovered three guns in his vehicle.
Authorities then searched Rubino's home, where they found an arsenal of high-powered weapons. They seized more than a dozen weapons, which included rifles, shotguns and a grenade launcher. Officers also found methamphetamine, six pounds of marijuana, and 200 marijuana vape cartridges.
In addition to the guns and illegal drugs, Rubino also had a collection of white supremacist material.
Rubino was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He could face life in prison if he is convicted on the drug trafficking charges.
