Hoover Police Make Arrest in School Threat

Hoover police announced an arrest Thursday, in connection with a threat at a city school. A 15-year old student is charged with using iPhone AirDrop Tuesday to send the message to another student at The Riverchase Career Connection Center. The message said: "tomorrow all chocolate kids will die." Police quickly determined the threat was not credible, but it caused a major disruption at the school. Superintendent Kathy Murphy said the incident was not racially motivated, because both students involved are black. The student is facing a misdemeanor charge of harassing communications.
