Two drivers Thursday engaged in a rolling shootout on I-20 during the morning rush hour, police said. It happened around 7:30 AM, in the westbound lanes near the I-459 exit. Investigators say the driver of a Chevy Suburban cut off the driver of a Nissan pickup, which had multiple bullet holes. Police have been questioning both men. "This was absolutely ridiculous," Irondale police Sgt. Michael Mangina said. "Just think, had there been a baby in a car seat, in another lane, who was struck by one of these bullets flying." Both drivers may face criminal charges.
