Facebook Data Center Coming to Alabama

A major economic development announcement in Huntsville on Thursday.   Gov. Kay Ivey announced that Facebook is building a $750 million dollar data center in the city.   It's expected to create about 100 jobs with an average salary of $80,000.    The data center will host many of the videos, photos, and news articles you see on your Facebook feed.   It's expected to be up and running by 2020.
