Plea Change Expected in Natalee Holloway Case

Joran van der Sloot could be ready to plead guilty in his federal extortion case. The Dutchman is scheduled to be in court Wednesday in Birmingham for a change of plea hearing and sentencing. Van der Sloot pleaded not guilty to extorting money from the family of Natalee Holloway, in exchange for information on the missing Mountain Brook teenager. Van der Sloot has been suspected, but never charged, in the 2005 disappearance and death of Holloway, while she was on the island of Aruba following her high school graduation. Van der Sloot is being held without bond at the Shelby County Jail.
