Helena police are seeking a person of interest in connection with a double murder. John Peyton Scott III, 41, may have information that is pertinent in the case, police chief Brad Flynn said. The bodies of a man and woman were found at a home on Piney Woods Drive on Wednesday afternoon. Scott is believed to be driving a red Ford EcoSport. Scott lived at the home, and was in a relationship with a victim, detectives said. Police said he is not believed to be dangerous. The victims' names have not been released. Police have not indicated the manner in which the victims were killed, or a possible motive.
