Restaurants:
- No dine-in order issued for Jefferson, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Blount, St. Clair, Shelby counties
- An order limiting dining in restaurant or bars has been expanded to areas surrounding Jefferson County.
Schools across Alabama are stepping up, implementing new ways to feed students who rely on schools for meals during the extended closures related to the coronavirus pandemic. Meals are available for all children, aged 18 and under. In nearly all cases, the child does not have to be enrolled in a public school in the district in order to receive a meal.
- Alabaster City Schools - March 18 to March 20, times differ by location.
- Buck Creek Park - lunch 11 a.m. to noon
- First Baptist Church of Alabaster - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster - 11 a.m. to noon
- Mount Olive Baptist - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m
- Thompson Intermediate School - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Birmingham City Schools - through March 18, ALL schools offering grab and go from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Homewood City Schools - grab and go, lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Homewood Middle School
- Hoover City Schools - grab and go, through March 20, lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Green Valley Elementary
- Leeds City Schools - through March 20, grab and go, 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
- Leeds Middle School
- Pelham City Schools - Beginning March 18 through March 20. Will also offer meals March 30 through April 3. Grab and go, 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
- Pelham Park Middle School
