Hoover Bank Robbery

A manhunt was underway Monday, following a bank robbery in Hoover.   A man walked into a Regions branch on Highway 31 at 11:18 a.m., and handed a note to the teller demanding money.     Police say the man implied that he had a gun.    After getting an undetermined amount of cash, the crook took off.    He was last seen walking southbound on Highway 31.    The robber is described as white, standing between  5'5' and 5'8," gray hair, medium build, possibly in his 50s.     He was wearing a white or light gray Under Armour t-shirt and jeans.    Anyone with information is asked to call Hoover police Lt.
