A grand jury gets the case of a woman who killed a couple in their home in Birmingham. Detectives say Kristin Gillian of Cullman was picked up in Florida while driving a car owned by Steve and Mary Holt. She was arrested just days after their bodies were discovered. The couple's granddaughter, a toddler, was found with bloodied clothes outside their home on 9th Court Circle South. She led investigators to their bodies. Court records show the child was tied up with a phone charger chord and put into a bathtub while Gillian and her accomplice, Zachary Smith of Arab, stabbed the couple to death. Both have had run ins with the law in the last couple of years for drug and burglary charges.
