Alabama football fans complained of long wait times to get through the metal detectors at Saturday's game. Some fans said they missed part of the game, even though they were at Bryant-Denny Stadium well ahead of the kickoff time. Athletics Director Greg Byrne said the security company -- Andy Frain Services -- had a large number of employees fail to show up. He said that led to many metal detectors unable to be used. There were also complaints about long waits at the concession stands. "We will get better," Byrne said.
