Tuscaloosa police say two officers were checking out a car in Snow Hinton Park after hours and determined the men in it were involved in criminal activity. While attempting to arrest the passenger in the car and take the driver into custody, the driver jumped back inside and took off. He dragged a cop and his passenger across the parking lot. He slammed into another officer as well as that officer's patrol car. The officer firing on the man's car. Both officers and the passenger injured in the incident were treated for road rash injuries and are now out of the hospital. 28 year old Demetrius Denzel Horton is behind bars facing several charges including attempted murder.
