Roy Moore Sues Sacha Baron Cohen

Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore is suing comedian Sacha Baron Cohen for $95-million dollars.    Moore was featured on a segment of the entertainer's Showtime series.  Cohen posed as an Israeli anti-terrorism agent, and interviewed Moore.  During the interview, Cohen produced a device resembling a hand-held metal detector that, Cohen claimed, could detect pedophiles.  The device repeatedly beeped whenever Cohen placed it near Moore.  The segment ended with Moore walking off the show.  Several women during last year's special Senate campaign claimed Moore pursued relationships with them in the 1970s and 80s, when they were teenagers.  Moore strongly denied the allegations, and countersued accuser Leigh Corfman.   Moore's lawsuit claims defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and fraud.     The lawsuit also names as defendants Showtime, and the network's corporate parent, CBS.
