Governor Kay Ivey holding a press conference on the 11th Ave. ramp in downtown Birmingham this morning.
Ivey says it is scheduled to be open by the end of the month.
ALDOT says this is the tallest ramp in the Birmingham area and it will change the skyline of the city.
The ramp was scheduled to open in time for the Governor's visit, but a last minute contractor issue pushed the date forward.
