A couple arrested in connection with a Birmingham double murder had been living near the victims, neighbors said. Steve and Mary Holt were killed in their home on 9th Circle South earlier this month. Zachary Phillips and Kristin Gullion were staying at a home across the street from the victims, area residents said. Phillips and Gullion were arrested separately in south Florida last week. Gullion was arrested after police found her driving the victims' car, police said. Phillips was arrested and charged with the theft of another vehicle. The two have not yet been charged with the murder of the Holts. The investigation is ongoing.
