Ivey: Illegals Not Coming to Alabama

Gov. Kay Ivey Wednesday said there are no plans to bring thousands of illegal aliens to detention centers in south Alabama.  A Navy memo published last week said  25,000 illegals would be held in tent cities on abandoned airfields in Baldwin County.  "My initial indication is, they're not coming to Alabama," Ivey said during an appearance in Hoover.   Baldwin County commissioners and Sheriff Huey "Hoss" Mack are in Washington, lobbying federal officials to drop the plan.
