A child's school lunch payment led to a mother's arrest, authorities in Shelby County said Monday. When the child handed a cafeteria worker money to pay at a school in Helena, the employee noticed a white, powdery substance. A school resource officer recognized it as meth, investigators said. Now, 44-year old Heather Isaacs of Alabaster is facing charges including chemical endangerment of a child. "This is just one of many examples that illustrate that drug addiction is not an individual issue," Lt. Clay Hammac, the task force's commander, said.
