Moore: Insiders Trying to Buy Senate Election

In Alabama's U.S. Senate race, former Chief Justice Roy Moore Tuesday blasted reports that a Super PAC tied to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will spend at least  $2.6 million dollars on TV ads supporting Senator  Luther Strange.  "We talk about draining the swamp, it seems like the swamp has come to Alabama," Moore said during an appearance at state Republican Party headquarters in Hoover.    "There is an intention to buy this election ... I've never seen this in Alabama, it's digusting."  In a statement, Strange replied that he "trusts the people of Alabama to elect their next Senator."   Strange says he's confident that his record as state attorney general of "draining the swamp in Montgomery, fighting corruption across the state and stopping the radical Obama administration in federal court is exactly the kind of experience Alabama voters are looking for."
